This way the playerbase has a choice if they would rather play alone, as a duo, or as the classic squad mode. The reason each queue should be ranked base is so you end up with players that are actually your skill level vs the game doing a horrible guess with SBMM which should of never existed in the first place.
I havnt spent the time to think everything out and it was just an idea I had while playing. Also it will take some time for everyone to balance out where they belong so early game everyone will be getting destroyed by players above there skill level for awhile but its no biggy it will only be like apex used to be before SBMM awhile eventually it will be better than the current state of apex.

So i started playing dota with my friend back when it was in beta and when they introduced ranked matchmaking i immediately queued with him for the 10 first games to get our rating. The problem now is that i got ranked on 3,8k and he got ranked on 3,0k. Now if we queue together we dont even get people that are close to us skillwise. Mostly people dont know how to draft nor how to farm and teamfight. Why are we rating apart when we played ALL games together?
Im on 3,8k in solo rating and the difference in skill is like day and night.
Duo Ranked Matchmaking

This is pretty much where we’re looking. We’re being cautious with how fast we tune the autofill knobs, because there are some pretty clear trade-offs in match quality and matchmaking queue times if we go too big too fast.

How Valorant Competitive Ranking Works

Meanwhile, team ranked queues can make sure that each five-man squad will face off against another five-man squad, maintaining an even playing field. Additionally, Riot should make players have separate ranks for each queue.
This system can still apply to solo and duo queue, since individual skill will probably take more precedent than team play. In ranked team play, however, ranks and MMR might need to be focused more around team performance.
